Not the 1950s

We are not in the 1950’s, friends. We will not go back. 
The women who came before us scratched, clawed, and wrote their way to getting better reproductive rights, access to education, and seats at the head of the damn table. Do not let them wipe the slate of history. Do not let them stifle our voices. Our ancestors, grandmothers, and sisters wanted better for us. We must insist. 

I have sparked more conversations around this topic, by simply wearing a statement piece; be it cap, shirt, or a funny sticker. Make them pay attention, let them ponder the movement. The contrast in these 1950s graphics & the wording is fully intentional. Women. Should. Not. Be. Tamed. Or. Scared. 
Women have always had the power to do whatever the f*ck they wanted—— they only need claim it and stand on it. Give us the space.
